The Lecture delved the students into the art of orchestrating and arranging music beginning from the inspiration of a specific motif and following the process through composition until the final presentation on the concert stage. It also emphasized the understanding of the process of arranging a piece from the selection of the instrumentation based on the various techniques of each instrument, then determining the size of the orchestra and exploring styles within the context of jazz music arrangement.
