Seminar #12
Recording | Classical Music Orchestral Courses
April 21st to May 4th 2026
In April/May 2026, the FAME’S Institute will host a two-part orchestral program for European students, interested in advancing their experience in performance, recording, while exploring new musical genres.
Held at FAME’S Studio in Skopje, North Macedonia, the program brings together internationally acclaimed mentors who will guide students through an intensive artistic and educational process.
Our Recording Music Orchestral Course focuses on learning numerous recording techniques, engaging in music theory for film scoring, and working in a state-of-the art professional recording studio to instill real-life knowledge about the process of professional recording. Throughout this one intensive week, participants will learn everything from the fundamentals of scoring films to the full process of preparing a composed score for a film production.
Our Classical Music Orchestral Course explores the rich and diverse world of classical and film music, inviting participants to build a meaningful connection between these two repertoires. Through studying and performing works from classical and film history, students will deepen their understanding of how classical traditions continue to shape and inspire music for the screen. The course culminates in a final public concert, where participants present selected scores to an audience.
Through daily rehearsals, workshops, and close interaction with leading professionals, participants will refine their technical skills, expand their artistic perspective, and gain valuable experience in both traditional orchestral performance and contemporary cross-genre collaboration.

Classical Music Orchestral Course
April 28th to May 4th 2026
This course gives participants the opportunity to work on music from some of the world’s most recognizable films, alongside selected works from the classical tradition. By engaging with both styles, students will develop a better understanding of the relationship between classical music and film scores, as well as the differences in interpretation and performance practice.
The course concludes with a final public concert at a venue in Skopje, North Macedonia, where participants will perform selected pieces and present the results of their work.
The participants will have the chance to encounter scores by Felix Mendelssohn, Ralph Vaughan Williams, Sergei Prokofiev, Dario Marianelli, Pietro Mascagni, John Williams, and George Gershwin, with the opportunity to perform the same pieces at a public concert on May 04th.
Through this course, participants will be equipped with and advance not only in their professionalization as musicians, but will also have the chance to explore the interplay between classical composing and the world of well-known cinematic scoring, both through daily rehearsals, lectures, and workshops on the practice of performing classical pieces and irrefutably acclaimed scores from the vast world of classical cinema.
