In the meantime, Alastair King offered a lecture based on his own vast experience for the film and media industry, covering his own history on conducting for titles such as Bee Movie, The Martian, and Harry Potter.

Our Course 1 Mentor Kaveh Vares gave lectures on Music in Function and Film Music Management, helping our students understand in practical terms different approaches to both scoring and positioning within the broader film music industry.

Our second course also offered a lecture by Miranda Allen entitled Behind the Career: Real Talk About Life in the Profession, which further detailed personal anecdotes and advice on navigating very real and tangible obstacles and aspects of progressing as a professional musician.
