21.04.2026 marked the official start of the FAME’S Institute’s 12th Seminar.
Joining the studio for the first week of Seminar 12 are various composers from the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, a number of composers, an orchestra of students from all over Europe, alongside Kaveh Vares as our mentor and Alastair King and Tim Redmond leading our participants through the art of professional orchestral recording for Film and Media.
Our students are set to spend an intensive week learning the specifics and unique professional aspects of recording in a state-of-the art recording studio, covering the entire spectrum of necessities for their professionalization in a given orchestral studio career. By observing, performing, and recording a number of pieces from our guest composers, our musicians are bound to leave the Institute not only better equipped with studio experience, but having gained invaluable knowledge about composition, recording, and the working life that follows it.
