Seminar #11
Recording | Hybrid Music Orchestral Courses
4th to 17th of February 2026
In February 2026, the FAME’S Institute hosts a two-part orchestral program for European students, interested in advancing their experience in performance, recording, while exploring new musical genres.
Held at FAME’S Studio in Skopje, North Macedonia, the program brings together internationally acclaimed mentors who will guide students through an intensive artistic and educational process.
Our Recording Music Orchestral Course focuses on the discovery of new repertoire, leading to a professional studio recording and a public performance at the Skopje Philharmonic Hall. Students will develop advanced ensemble and listening skills, gain practical insight into the professional recording process, and learn to adapt their playing to both studio and concert environments.
Our Hybrid Music Recording Course explores the intersection of classical and jazz traditions through a collaborative workshop on rhythm, groove, and improvisation. Working alongside experienced jazz orchestral musicians, students will strengthen their rhythmic awareness, stylistic flexibility, and collaborative performance techniques, culminating in a final live concert.
Through daily rehearsals, workshops, and close interaction with leading professionals, participants will refine their technical skills, expand their artistic perspective, and gain valuable experience in both traditional orchestral performance and contemporary cross-genre collaboration.

Recording Music Orchestral Course
4th to 10th of February 2026
This intensive program offers young string players an exceptional opportunity to record and perform with violinist Daniel Rowland, founder of the Stift International Music Festival and Professor at the Royal College of Music in London. This six-day recording course will include professional recording sessions (studio work, control room, listening, and production process), a number of lessons, evening chamber music sessions, and small ensemble work.
The course will end with a public performance at the Skopje Philharmonic Hall on February 10th.
During their six days of recording, participants will engage with all aspects of recording a given piece, immersing themselves in the full process of recording, listening to, and re-recording as part of professional sessions within a fully-equipped studio. This, in combination with a culminating performance and the study of professional recording, will familiarize students entirely with the practice of professional recording within the industry.
