With 33 diverse lectures and workshops completed in 2024, our students had a very fruitful learning experience during their stay at FAME’S Institute.
Guided by incredible mentors like Austin Wintory @a.wintory, Alastair King, Timothy Redmond @redmond_tim, Irina Muresanu @irinamuresanu, Vesko Eschkenazy @vesko_eschkenazy, Conrad van Alphen @conradvanalphen, Kaveh Vares @kaveh.vares, Peter Barsony @peterbarsony, Aleksandra Denda @sandeesoulsista and many more, they explored everything from hybrid music styles to film scoring, improvisation, through self-care for artists, wellbeing and nutrition, to scoring techniques used in films like Harry Potter, as well as traditional Balkan instruments!
APPLY before the deadline (December 31st) for Orchestral Course in February (Feb 6th-25th): Timeless Traditions — Gypsy Music and Orchestra, a program that explores the evolution of gypsy-inspired music through a blend of orchestral classics (Liszt, Brahms, Sarasate Ravel), along with contemporary adaptations (Django Reinhardt and Federico Nathan).
