Feel the atmosphere from Seminar #5 – ‘Recording & Film Music’ Orchestral Course
Today marks the official start of the ‘Film Music’ Orchestral Course, led by our mentor Alastair King, who will be working with the students on Film Music! Alastair King is an orchestrator, composer and conductor, who regularly works on major film and TV projects in both the UK and Hollywood. He has contributed to over 100 films, TV shows, and video game projects, including “Shrek”, “Wonder Woman”, “Harry Potter”, “The Martian”, “Downton Abbey”, “Chicken Run”, and “Doctor Who”.
The course offers our 26 students from 10 different European counties, the opportunity to gain real-world experience by working alongside five emerging film music composers. They will learn how to bring original compositions to life, comprehend the demands of delivering professional-quality performances, and meet strict deadlines.
