FAME’S Institute – Recording and Classical Music Orchestral Courses

In April/May 2026, FAME’S Institute will host a two-part orchestral program focused on professional recording, film music, and classical orchestral performance. Taking place at FAME’S Studio in Skopje, the program brings together internationally recognized mentors and European music students for an intensive artistic and educational experience.
Recording Music Orchestral Course
April 21–27, 2026
In collaboration with Conservatorium van Amsterdam
This course focuses on recording techniques and music for film. Participants work in a professional studio setting and gain practical experience in film scoring fundamentals, music theory for film, studio collaboration, and the full process of preparing music for film production. Sessions also include film score analysis and rehearsals of selected film repertoire.
Classical Music Orchestral Course – From Classics to Cinema
April 28 – May 4, 2026
Mentors: Eric Hansen (conductor) and Markus Däunert (violin)
This course explores the relationship between classical music and film scores. Participants perform works from both traditions, developing understanding of style, interpretation, and performance practice. Repertoire includes music by Mendelssohn, Vaughan Williams, Prokofiev, Marianelli, Mascagni, John Williams, and Gershwin. The program concludes with a final public concert in Skopje on May 4.
Through daily rehearsals, workshops, and close interaction with leading professionals, participants will refine their technical skills, expand their artistic perspective, and gain valuable experience in both traditional orchestral performance and contemporary cross-genre collaboration.
