Orchestral Strings: From Baroque to Romanticism
Led by renowned violinist, soloist, and pedagogue Emilio Percan, the Classical Orchestral Course: From Baroque to Romanticism course focused on string chamber orchestra performance, exploring repertoire from the Baroque through the Romantic period.
Participants worked closely with Maestro Percan on a carefully selected program featuring diverse musical styles and rarely performed works. Under his guidance, students studied compositions by A. Vivaldi, E. F. Dall’Abaco, Corelli/Geminiani, G. Puccini, and Vivaldi/Max Richter, developing both technical precision and artistic interpretation. Special emphasis was placed on ensemble playing, historical performance practice, and stylistic versatility within a professional orchestral setting.
The course concluded with a public concert performed by FAME’S Institute students together with Emilio Percan on July 6, 2025, at Suli An, Skopje.
