‘Recording’ Orchestral Course: An American Story

Looking back on the ‘Recording’ Orchestral Course: An American Story in July, led by violinist Irina Muresanu @irinamuresanu, professor of violin and strings at the University of Maryland School of Music and maestro Scott Flavin @scoflav, Resident Conductor for The Henry Mancini Institute.

💬 “An educational project like the FAME’S Institute simply does not exist elsewhere in Europe. The idea of bringing together students from all over the EU as part of an educational project is remarkable. It involves rehearsing and learning new music, but also recording in a professional studio.”, highlights violinist Irina Muresanu.

💬 “I think this is unique compared to anything I’ve ever experienced. It is phenomenal to have a state-of-the-art recording studio at the heart of it, along with rehearsal spaces, a built-in bistro, housing and mentors and participants mingling together. It is something I haven’t seen anywhere else.”, explains Scott Flavin, conductor.
