What a special moment it was to welcome Austin Wintory’s (@a.wintory) to our studio and collaborate on a video game music concert with our FAMES EU Youth Orchestra @famesinstitute. These talented young musicians from across Europe, together with players from FAMES Orchestra, delivered a breathtaking performance. Each of them brought us light and emotion into the studio, on stage, and beyond!
We are deeply grateful to Austin for sharing his passion so generously with these young players and our entire team. Over the past 13 years since we’ve recorded ‘Journey’, it has been an incredible privilege for the orchestra to be part of your creative work, and this project will remain one of the most unique experiences we’ve had at FAMES.
A huge thank you to our mentor and friend Tim Redmond @redmond_tim for preparing the orchestra so brilliantly, making us feel like we can be both an orchestra and a rock band.
We also extend our gratitude to @kolarac_kolarceva_zaduzbina and Ana Krstajic @anakrstajic for hosting the orchestra in Belgrade for this unforgettable show.
