We are thrilled to welcome Maestro Mirian Khukhunaishvili @mirian.nai to FAME’S Institute! As co-founder and music director of the Tbilisi Youth Orchestra, Mirian has conducted some of the world’s finest orchestras, including the Royal Concertgebouw Orchestra and the Danish National Symphony Orchestra.
This week, Maestro Mirian will lead our ‘Film Music’ Orchestral Course with talented young musicians from various European and Creative Europe countries who came together to celebrate Alfred Hitchcock’s legacy.
Brand’s Blackmail will receive premiere at Silent and Classical Film Festival on 16th September at the National Cinematheque of N. Macedonia @kinoteka.mk, where our students, led by Maestro Khukhunaishvili, will perform Neil Brand’s score for Hitchcock’s silent film “Blackmail”.
This project’s goal is to promote media literacy and appreciation for classic cinema, through focusing on the importance of Hitchcock’s work and the impact of music in film in general.
We can’t wait for this cross-cultural celebration of cinematic history and orchestral talent!
