The Call for the Seminar #5 for ‘Recording & Carte Blanche’ is now OPEN (11th – 24th of May)!
The ‘Recording & Carte Blanche’ Orchestral Course in May offers our students an opportunity to collaborate with media composers on bringing original music written for film to life, working in a professional recording studio. Our students will gain practical experiences by working together with the composers and a professional team at FAME’S studio.
The first part of this Course, organized in collaboration with the Conservatoire of Amsterdam, five young composers will record their Film music soundtracks for animation movies produced by Netherlands Film academies, together with our students led by our professional technical team and Conductor. The Course will be led by Kaveh Vares, Artistic Director of the Composing for Film Master’s Program at the Conservatory of Amsterdam and Joaquim Badia who holds a Master’s Degree in Composing for Film, TV and Video Games from Berklee College of Music and has won the BBC Young Composer Award.
The second part of the Course will provide insight into the world of music production for Media, will help prepare students to create and maintain a workflow with trade-typical production elements. The Course will be led by Diane Louie, leader of the Hip Hop Orchestra for The Harmony Project, an award-winning research-based program that targets at-risk youth in Los Angeles.
